Annie Leibovitz: Lennon + Ono

I accidentaly ran into a documentary about photographer Annie Leibovitz.

I thought I should share.

Regarding this picture,Wikipedia states :
On December 8, 1980, Leibovitz had a photo shoot with John Lennon for Rolling Stone, promising him that he would make the cover.[6] She had initially tried to get a picture with just Lennon alone, which is what Rolling Stone wanted, but Lennon insisted that both he and Yoko Ono be on the cover. Leibovitz then tried to re-create something like the kissing scene from the Double Fantasy album cover, a picture that she loved. She had John remove his clothes and curl up next to Yoko. Leibovitz recalls, "What is interesting is she said she'd take her top off and I said, 'Leave everything on' — not really preconceiving the picture at all. Then he curled up next to her and it was very, very strong. You couldn't help but feel that she was cold and he looked like he was clinging on to her. I think it was amazing to look at the first Polaroid and they were both very excited. John said, 'You've captured our relationship exactly. Promise me it'll be on the cover.' I looked him in the eye and we shook on it."[7] Leibovitz was the last person to professionally photograph Lennon—he was shot and killed five hours later.[8]

Disturbing composition, amazing picture. Lennon is hugging Yoko Ono in
an almost asphyxiating and possesive way. At the same time, however, he is portrayed
naked thus conveying the idea of frailty or the need of emotional shelter. The contrast is strenghen
by the woman's behaviour: she seems unperturbed by her role of love spring, from which
the man methaphorically draws through a kiss. The overall result is a redefinition of roles by
means of smudging the edges between masculine and feminine.
My modest point of view.

1 - 2 - (°_°): Zoe Kravitz

ONE TO WATCH: ZOE KRAVITZ
Is it me or everything the Little Kravitz Princess does come in a smooth, clean and pretty boho package?!
Definetely the worthy heiress of the Bonnet-Kravitz Empire.
I'm in love with the way she is effortlessly stylish and she almost seems bored by her indesputable allure.
I also admire how she copes with the fact that 3/4 of  women on Planet Earth wuold much enjoy f**king her daddy. ( I thought about using the more polite expression "have sexual intercourse", but it wouldn't by far depict what some female would put Mr Kravitz through, if only they could get their hands on him. Luckily I'm not one of them.)

Musicbox #2

There are a lot of other parts of the video that a male audience would much approve, but I focused, instead, on the rather artstic part of it. This mainly because the way Rihanna natually a sensuosly flaunts in that piece of garment, I'd never call a top, makes me feel embarrased.

Presently I'm Penny from the Big Bag theory, Season 2, Episode 3: the Barbarian Sublimation. I'm totally alienated from real life and completely endowing a virtual life that gives me a synthetic, yet much rewarding, personal accomplishment. I'm totally disappointed by myself in every area of living and I'm afraid it's been a whilw since I last had a shower. All I do is fill myself with food hoping the expansion of my stomach will constrict the void in my heart. My main concearn regarding this eating regimen is that if I stick to it by the next forthnight none of my clothes will fit me anymore. By the way it's inexact to say that I'm Penny as far as I have no Leonard telling me that I lack sense of achievement nor any Leslie Winkle pointing out I 'm sexually frustrated, even thought both sentences perfectly apply to my current life. I think this tv series is really brilliant. Two funny characteristics of it are that if you pose the player in any istanct of the theme you discover strange pictures and at he of any episode there' s a short note written by Chuck Lorre which is always extremely witty and funny.
TemiTemi is AFK.
